Who We Are

April Meacham Wacaster and Teah McWhorter live in Alabama and love traveling to teach this workshop. They are faithful members of the church of Christ. They have more than 70 years of teaching experience between them—including 22 years doing this workshop—and have both taught all ages of children and women. They both speak on Ladies’ Day programs, at retreats and lectureships, and at Polishing the Pulpit.

April loves to work at her computer creating visuals, developing websites, and proofreading materials for preachers and lectureship directors. Teah works in her bookstore to provide Bibles and valuable study resources to her customers and is the "artist’s eye” for all the visuals work. They share a love for music that has resulted in nearly three dozen hymns and Bible class songs. Their love for God’s Word has led them to write Bible class lessons for various ages.

April collects smiles and hugs because they don’t have to be dusted. Teah enjoys watching the birds that visit her outdoor feeders and thinking about heaven. Teah loves her seventeen precious grandchildren dearly while April delights in her twenty nearly-perfect grandchildren.
