First session—The workshop program begins at 9:00 sharp. Members of the host congregation welcome the attendees, lead a song and prayer, and introduce the teachers. This usually takes only 6-7 minutes at most.
This session discusses the questions How can I be a better Bible class teacher? How do I make a lesson plan? What difference does the appearance of my room make? What about team teaching? How do I make application of today's lesson? How can I motivate students to memorize Scripture?

Second session—It's time to put on your fastest shoes as we "Teach Through the Old Testament." We include ideas for teaching every age from newborn to adult as we survey 4,000 years of Bible history.
Lunch—Lunch is typically provided by the host congregation. You'll have time to eat a great meal and visit with other Christian ladies.
Third session—Promptly at 1 o'clock, we begin to "Teach Through the New Testament." Of special interest is the demonstration of ways to teach difficult topics such as sin and forgiveness, withdrawal of fellowship, and prejudice.

Final session—In "Tools of the trade" we explore the use of videos, puppet shows, and competitions in Bible class; good books for teacher edification; and art supplies and computer programs that make the best visual aids. We cover copyright and touch on resource rooms. Then we give you a chance to ask your questions about teaching. We end at 3-or whenever your questions are finished!
Before and after the workshop, during every break and lunch, you have opportunities to browse in Chula Vista Books for teacher resources and visual aids.
